One such champion became the greatest of all and led the people to a golden age of wonder, forging science and mystery into one. But the figure ascended, or abandoned the realms, or died... depending on who you asked. The people could not bear the loss of their god and soon they too became lost. And so the great society of these many realms waned and inevitably fell, disaster and war causing a spiral dragging civilization to the brink of annihilation — perhaps the very pit of hell. Would it rise again, or sink ever deeper? An epic inspired by both fantasy and sci-fi, designed with a steadily increasing pace until latter crescendos. Expect a unique setting and high detail. Unusual peoples and cultures. Often heavy descriptions to paint the scene. Chapters frequently on the long side. Occasionally other viewpoints (but not for a hundred thousand words in, or more). A protagonist that will grow into his own with time; he starts out decently capable, but clueless of his true capacity. What should you not expect? Direct smut — or any particular extreme thing just for its sake alone. Romance does have relevance, its threads woven into the fabric of the story. The tale is simulative, aiming for deep connections and understandings of character experience while obeying their reality. All is intended to serve the story. Many characters will think about sex or talk about it to some degree, as well as the possibility of conducting in it behind a fade-to-black. Nudity can also occur. No f-bombs, though other curse words can make an appearance, and there will be new words and substitutions.
