Roman Miller, once a rising star of the mixed martial arts world, disappeared from the public spotlight following a controversial loss. A year later, he's ready to step foot in the ring once more, but on the night of his little-anticipated fight calamity befalls the entire galaxy.  Unfathomable beings of cruel and capricious fancy claim the stars now belong to them; for their eternal entertainment, the survivors are forced to participate in a battle royale, governed by a system designed to drive them mad.  Roman's not happy about it, but he may be better suited for this new world than the old one. He's not unfamiliar with his every move being watched by judging eyes, even if these eldritch horrors have more than he's used to.
