Asmundre lives on the very edge of the world, in the shadow of the serpent wall itself. His father is a junker, and Asmundre can't find a way to avoid following in his footsteps and spending his days digging through the discarded trash of the wall and the floating cities, until a Blood Mech crashes in their backyard and changes his destiny.
