"Slavery. A most despicable trade." Shale grew up seeing the horrors of slavery around himself.  Witnessing the atrocities of slavery first hand, when traveling with a trade caravan he vowed to end slavery or be ended. But now, facing reality it seems like an insurmountable task and he is beset at all sides by distractions. Can he rise up and become who frees slaves?  And is there even money in it?
