Mark was just supposed to inspect a local dig sight for possible cult activity, something that was more likely to be a bunch of bored nobles playing dress up. After that it would be a relaxing ride home with his apprentice and back to his books. Instead he finds himself transported halfway around the world to a island that feels out of time and is inhabited by warrior women who may not take kindly to him waltzing around his their most sacred temple. Especially their princess Jade who isn't sure if the vision she received is a threat or a promise and which she would rather it be.
