Synopsis
In the year 2259, Cedar Wells, a lonely and broke massage therapist, lives a quiet life—until she’s accused of grand larceny, a crime she swears she didn’t commit. With justice now controlled by cutting-edge virtual technology, Cedar is sentenced to a Virtual Rehabilitation Prison, an immersive system where convicts are forced to relive their alleged crimes repeatedly—until they confess, repent, or break.
Inside this hauntingly lifelike simulation, Cedar encounters cracks in the system. Memories blur, landscapes shift, and she begins questioning the very nature of truth, reality, and her own subconscious. Determined to escape the digital nightmare before her physical body flatlines, Cedar uncovers a deeper mystery when she meets an unexpected guide: another version of herself from a parallel, much older universe.
This centuries-older Cedar reveals profound truths about existence, life after death, and the interconnected multiverse. She explains that after death, people enter new worlds where they can “level up” as if in an RPG. Cedar learns that her journey is more than just proving her innocence—it is the origin of her destiny. She must save her universe from collapsing, guided by wisdom from her alternate self and the profound understanding that reality itself is malleable.
