The child is consumed by the madness and pain, allowing the darkness to purge his fragile being. The child returns to the realm of mortals, tempered by his past, and begins forging his own path.-----Yet humans soon declared war against demons and beasts alike, drawing in an insipid omen of death. The drums of war begin pounding heavily, and the child is caught within the ripple of destruction - sitting on the divide of death.
