Marta is a girl like any other. No, really, there's nothing special about her: she's a uni student having issues with exams and a feeling of constantly being burnt out. Her family is on her back, forcing her to look for a job and generally not making things easier for her, while her friends seem to growing more and more distant every day. She's watching as her life slowly falls apart every day, unable to change anything and, truly, unwilling to make herself care at this point. So, yes, maybe not your everyday girl, but still not someone special. That is, until one day she wakes up and finds herself stranded in a castle. The outside is a dark nothingness, and the expansive insides hold more secrets than she could ever hope to unveil in a lifetime. Also, there's a man in the mirror who sometimes talks to her, the cook is a robot with daddy issues, strangers sometimes visit her to spend time just talking and oh! Right! Every time she does something she changes. This is my submission to the January Contest.
