Synopsis
Cardboard crack never tasted sweeter.
Rowen’s biggest regrets are that the 90’s are over and he no longer has his Tragic: The Butthurting card collection. Middle-aged, unemployed, and nostalgic for the past, Rowen’s life is in stasis. So when nostalgia comes knocking in the form of Damien, an old friend with a coke habit and a plan to steal an expensive Tragic card collection, Rowen eagerly jumps at the chance to change his life and get the collection of cards he’s always dreamed about.
All they have to do is get from the UK to the stupid country of Sweden and deliver a fridge.
One minute they’re planning their trip from the UK to Sweden for the job, the next they’re smuggling sauces, being hounded by thuggish drug suppliers, and joining a Peking opera troupe. And it will all be worth it, because once you’ve had a taste of that sweet cardboard crack, there’s no escaping its hold.
Life, however, is like a game of Tragic, where you either smother your opponent and bask in the sweet juices of victory, or lose embarrassingly. There is no in-between, and between Rowen and Damien, there can only be one winner in the tragic game of unresolved grudges.
