Olivia Sullivan slid into her chair in the lecture hall at 7:59 a.m., out of breath, but on time. Dr. Martinez was not lax on tardiness and would deduct grade points–a fact she tested and, unfortunately, proved. If students were not in their seats and ready to go at 8:00 a.m., he would start to deduct one point for every minute. Brutal.
Chemistry 101 at 8:00 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday was a special kind of hell. So, so special. Olivia quietly cracked open the bottled mocha she begrudgingly brought with her (bought ahead of time, stocked in the fridge in her apartment, and ready to go every morning), accepting the grace of the caffeine but cursing the pre-made blech. Yeah, she was a coffee snob. So what? Ok, she was also defensive, too.
“Today, we’ll discuss the periodic table, a fundamental tool in chemistry. The periodic table is a tabular…” Dr. Martinez began.
Why did I do this to myself? Olivia thought, not for the first time. Definitely not for the first time. Oh, yeah. It was the only one that fit in with her other courses this semester. Fuck me!
“Each element is placed in a specific location based on its atomic…” he droned on.
Must. Keep. Eyes. Open. Olivia chanted in her head. She had given up on actually paying attention and taking notes because the words kept flowing together into one long, low, buzzing…Fuck. I should record this and play it at night when I can’t sleep.
“Drastic times call for drastic measures,” she whispered to herself, bringing up one of her favorite websites, Feddit. At the very least, it would keep her eyeballs open. At most, it would make it look like she was taking a few notes. Win-win.
Oh. Oh, my. She felt more awake already seeing the first thing in her Fedd–new yandere rec’s!

> I’ve been reading a lot of the popular stuff lately like “Own Me’’ and “Your Mine”, which is always good 😏😏 (that’s why were here duh) BUT i happened across this gem called ‘KISS ME LIKE I’M DYING” aaaand i needed more like that. You’ll understand when you read it, trust me. Seriously. So after that manhwa hangover i found the novel, read that (super good too btw), but i still wanted more. MORE. So i did some digging and found some shall i say "niche" yandere (you’ll understnad when you read it) that definitely scratched the itch. Here are the rec’s-

> happy reading! 😏
This should be a good thread, she thought, typing a comment to save it for later. She could feel the excitement tingling in the back of her head, the same feeling she always got when it came to her "guilty pleasure." The other super nice thing about online groups like this was knowing she was far from alone in her tastes.

Olivia smiled, caught herself before Dr. Martinez could, and schooled her face so as not to give away her excitement. A handful of new titles in a new flavor? Goody. Delicious. And maybe in a few hours, there'd be even more after others chimed in.
Olivia spent the rest of class hunting down the recommended titles, using her usual legitimate methods first (she considered herself a respectable netizen, after all), then opting for the less savory channels as things grew harder and harder to find. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and all that.
Fairly satisfied, she decided to refresh the thread to check for updates at the end of class, just in case.

Olivia's brow furrowed. Why did that username seem familiar?
She shrugged and slammed her laptop shut. Whatever! The internet is a vast and fucked up place and she had bigger problems to worry about. Such as getting to her 9:00 a.m. class across campus in five minutes.
After she shoved everything in her bag, she threw on her jacket and flew out of the room with an energy that could only come from the fear of being late.
She didn't notice the pair of eyes watching her from the back of the room, eyes peering out from underneath the hood of a black sweatshirt.
His Olivia was so adorable.
