Synopsis
Smores, canoeing, games, and…death?
For over fifty years, Camp Courage has been a refuge for troubled teens. Hailing from ever corner of the United States, thousands of teens have had their lives changed for the better thanks to the efforts of Camp Courage. At least, that’s what the brochures say.
Carmina is the poster child of someone in need of Camp Courage. She’s a belligerent high-school dropout who’s only goal in life is to party as much as possible. But when Carmina attempts to rob a department store, her mother decides it’s the last straw. After much fruitless protesting, Carmina is shipped off to Camp Venture. She believes her summer is going to consist of strict counselors and lots of fake repentance for her sins.
She couldn’t be more wrong.
War changes everything. Unbeknownst to the campers and their families, Camp Courage has been warped into an experimental research lab run by an organization calling themselves the Greater Good. The ultimate goal of the Greater Good is to create human superweapons capable of winning the war for America. And the campers? They’re the test dummies.
