Sleek, with a muscular form and protective quills, this elusive Animara has clawed its way back from the brink of extinction. Released into the wild three years ago, two young Quillhounds, Thando and Penda, have grown into formidable creatures, forging tunnels and storing precious food in preparation for the coming winter. This year marks a turning point, as they approach their first breeding season, a hopeful sign for the future of their kind. As autumn fades, the Quillhounds will retreat into hibernation, their survival intricately bound to the forest.
