The world named, among other things, Patchwork is no stranger to calamities, be it the calamity that led to its creation or the various calamities that impacted the many devastated worlds which formed its plethora of Realms.  Nonetheless, this young world, built on the bones of those far older, is entering a new era.  An era where calamities fall like rain.  [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This a litrpg/fantasy/sci-fi/xianxia story, in other words a genre dogpile.  The main character, Iex Delsorro Ackez Oculrinth Valgrund, is the charatcer whose PoV the story will typically follow.  There'll be PoVs from other characters though.  This is meant to be a long story and one I hope to eventually finish.  I don't know how good it'll be but I'll try my best with it.  I hope you enjoy it and I'm open to feedback, though I may not do any editing during the writathon.
