Synopsis
It's been over a decade since the great war between the Golden Empire and the Alliance came to an end and ended like most wars do. Inconclusively. Nozomu Hideaki is the adopted daughter of the great general Omanaga Hideaki, the same general who singlehandedly turned the tides of the war, and the same general who was banished in shame by the end of it. She was a flower on the cusp of blooming. Except this flower had thorns. And after living a life of a bowed head in shame, she would see her star rise to the heavens and shine brighter than all.
But on the continent of Barbeau, where uncaring rulers are too busy with their games of intrigue, hoard what little magic there is, are deaf to the plights of the common man, blind to the ravagings' of monsters, ignorant to the machinations of earthbound divinities walking among mortals, Nozomu will soon discover that Fate laughs at the plans of Man and it'll take much more than the cut of her tongue, bite of her blade and the mystery of the trump cards she has up her sleeves just to survive the coming storm, let alone thrive in it.
