The world of Vestige is a withered husk of a planet, with oceans so polluted they’re acidic, and constant meteor strikes from the broken moons hanging overhead to remind us of our ancestors' mistakes. Broken, torn, tattered, maimed and scarred; this shattered rock is but a vain shadow of the pristine orb created by the gods eons ago. And though the gods are long dead, and the unimaginable ancient civilizations that felled them are not but ruins, their tools and weapons have been left behind. Incomprehensible contraptions capable of bending reality itself, scattered like toys in a sandbox, and mere happenstance may grant a king's prize to a fool's errand. It is a world of dead gods and lost knowledge.
