Kobolds are said to be descended from the dragons; scale clad warriors who charged into the fray wielding mighty helixite halberds. However, that was millennia ago. Now, they are known as one of the weakest races, with scarcely enough power to do even the smallest of magical feats. Covered in the fur of a dog instead of the scales of a dragon, kobolds have sequestered themselves away in hidden villages, cutting themselves off from the rest of the world. Hundreds of years later, that balance is about to change. The birth of the first scale armored kobold in centuries is the catalyst of change that will propel her race back to the heights of her ancestors and take their place amongst legends once more. This is a project I started after I realized I spend way too long with my nose buried in a sea of books. I’m basically making it up as I go along and while I have several events that are set in stone, the path the main character takes to get there is still up for debate. If you feel like I could’ve written a section better, or have a good idea that would help with the flow of the story, I’d be glad to hear it and will take it into consideration moving forward, just be nice about it.
