System Edit: this timeline has been shelved, but the adventures of the bonsai world tree and his hapless owner will continue in the next System Update Timeline.A Little tree is dragged through time and space, from the hands of an immortal cultivator in another universe to an Isekai heroine to eventually end up in the care of a poor Smuck In a roach Infested apartment building in Ottawa Canada during a pandemic. The tree's original Immortal master used potions and valuable artifacts to keep the tree growing denser and more powerful rather than Taller, like a normal World Tree. Eventually, rather than birth worlds on its branches, it created pocket rooms and realms within its branches. The Immortal would then prune some of these new branches and make extra-dimensional storage rings and bracelets. The heroine would eventually take the tree itself as a reward, then return to earth once she was done with her quest. She was able to take the tree back to earth with her as her final reward for saving that world. Her descendants would care for the tree for over 1000 years until the modern-day and a man trapped with the tree gave the Bonsai World Tree her own name. ------------------------ [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] 2020The tree operates like a dungeon, but for cultivators, and on modern-day earth. The story takes place in the same universe as my Omnipocalypse stories but starts before the cataclysm on a low mana Earth much like ours, except for the changes to the timeline make by various supernatural elements, like the returning Isekai Heroine who brings the Bonsai Tree to earth.
