The school bell rang, its drone waking me up from my dreams. My sweaty hands slid from under my face. No longer supported , gravity pulled my head downwards.
BANG.
The class went silent, the gazes of twenty students landed on me. The silence only lasted seconds before poorly concealed giggles filled the room. My ears burned red with embarrassment, why did ancient history have to be so boring? I turned my head sideways on the desk, blowing my long brown hair out of my eyes and rubbed my sore forehead. Everybody was packing up their books and chatting to their friends that they would walk home with. I sighed and dragged my self out of my chair, I swept my books into my bag, after I hurriedly wiped the drool off before anyone else saw, the pages fluttered and some fell out. Not that I really cared, I was doing fine in school anyway, one missing page wasn't going to fail me. I pulled my cardigan over my shoulders and looked about the room. It was nearly time for the Christmas holidays.
"Hooray . More time to spend at home by myself."
"Who - ah?"
A startled voice called from behind me. I turned in surprise, someone was calling for me? The only other student left in the class room, Garett. He wiped his mouth and shook his head apologetically, my heart sunk. It seemed he wasn't looking for me but had just woken up from a nap. How outrageous. My mouth twitched ready to cuss him out, luckily I held myself back. Garett was the most popular kid in class, good looking, funny and a talented football player. Maybe things weren't great at home for him either, he might need the rest, I shouldn't be upset. I headed out of the door, leaving Garett alone in the classroom, a lone tear running down my cheek. Why was I crying? Did I seriously think someone had finally reached out to me? Hah! I was pathetic, a sorry mess. I hung my head and walked as fast as my legs would carry me.

My bags were thrown over the floor beside my mattress, the noisy kettle was boiling, I sat on the counter with my instant noodles in hand thinking of the dream I had earlier. It was the same as the last one, I was a boy in a strange world. A beautiful boy with snow white hair, pale skin, strong cheekbones and jaw. He was perfectly handsome. I remembered how embarrassed I was the first time I dreamt this dream, I had woken up with my pyjama top half off all because I became a handsome man.
"Hah"
I laughed at myself, getting so excited for no reason. The kettle dinged.
As I poured out the hot water into the cup I tried to remember what I had done wrong, the dreams usually wouldn't progress unless I met some sort of objective - almost like a game. I slurped my noodles while still on the counter as usual, I'm not sure why it became a habit of mine. Maybe I enjoyed the feeling of my legs hanging, although I usually swung the back and forth. Leaving the empty cup and dirty fork in the sink along with the others I hopped down and headed to the bathroom. Hopefully my dad didn't forget to pay my water bills. The shower head spluttered and hot water shot out, I took of my dirty uniform. Unbuttoning my shirt and pulling of my tights, I looked in the mirror. While I was no supermodel I didn't think I looked too bad. My hips were wide enough, my bust big enough and my face pretty enough. Feeling somewhat content I walked into the shower.
I pulled on my pyjama bottoms and took the toothbrush out of my mouth. I felt refreshed after the shower and wanted to preserve this feeling in my sleep. I jumped unto my mattress and pulled the duvet up. The incident at school began to nag at me as did my homework, but I blocked all my thoughts and focused on the warm weight of the duvet and softness of the pillow on my head. I started to drift away, my consciousness fading and I fell into deep sleep.
The ground felt cool against my back, cold snow fell on my face. Snow? Why was there snow in my apartment? I shot up and looked around. I was in the white forest beside the estate, the same place I awoke last time. I smiled.
"Take three. Here we go!"
