Arthur Wan is just a scientist, with moderate accomplishments and a side hobby in journalism. That is, until his hobby leads him to uncovering a group of pirates experimenting with forbidden technology. The discovery begins a chain of events that leads to him, eventually, becoming an Inquisitor, those who ensure that dangerous technology is not furthered. But something sets their eyes on the galaxy, something that is far beyond his, or anyone's wildest imagination. *=====* This story is one that focuses on the messy collision that happens when fantasy intrudes on sci-fi. The first seven chapters can be thought of as a long-winded prologue or prelude, and the collision actually happens after the setting is established. There will be one chapter per week, consisting of 10,000 words at minimum. Any and all criticism is appreciated, and I hope you enjoy.
