DARIUS FLINT is 23-year-old living in the ghettos of Oakland. Once a common thief, he’s tried his best to leave that life behind after his parents died and left him to raise his younger sister, CICI. He works as a mobile phlebotomist assistant, drawing blood at the Red Cross and donation centers. He struggles to make ends meet, while child services watch how he handles Cici carefully. When Cici gets a chance at a better life by moving to a new private school, Darius suddenly needs more money and decides to ride along with his friend Lamar on a heist at a blood bank. While on the job he discovers he’s stealing blood for a vampire gang known as the “Golden Wings”. Instead of risking discovery by hunting humans in the modern world, vampires use blood bags to feed. The blood trade has allowed modern vampires make money and retain their status. Lesser vampires called SCAGS are blood junkies and buy from the vampire gangs who control blood distribution. If they fail, the vampire boss, VICTOR, will kill them. Darius is sucked into the “blood trade”, in deep to back out now… This story is written in script format. Enjoy!
