Jacob slowly came too, he was in a cabin lit by a fireplace and candles, it was very homey. "Finally awake lad. Good, glad you finally made it here." Jacob slowly sat up and looked at an old man. He was dressed in grey waiting at a table full of food. "Well come on lad sit down and grab some food, eat you fill boy." The man said as he gestured toward all the food. Jacob slowly got out of the bed and sat down at the table and started picking at the food.
"Where am I?" Jacob asked between bites of food. This place was odd and his senses were off. He couldn't sense anything at all beyond the four walls of the cabin.
The old man smiled, "You are quick. We aren't on either world you know Jacob. Someplace in between where the Pantheons cannot see you and you cannot leave until I send you back. This place was built by my father and mother. My brother, sister, and I use it as a place to rest when we are not overseeing things in the world of Fate. Its a meeting place for us as well, I expect that they will show up soon so do not be surprised."
Jacob looked closer at the old man, one of his eyes was pitch black and the other snow white. "Let me guess...Balance? I thought you were not allowed to do such things?"
"Yes and no. What the Pantheons did to the Vampire race screwed everything out of Balance. It requires a redress and I am trying to do that through you." Balance responded.
Suddenly the front door opened and slammed shut just as quickly. "What are you doing brother? You cannot bring him here!!" A man cloaked in robes that absorbed the light strode over and sat down to the right of Balance. "Mortals do not belong here! Not even our children are allowed here, we all agreed to that long ago."
"Considering who you are Darkness, why are you lecturing me about breaking rules?" Balance asked his brother.
Darkness grinned and gave Balance the one-fingered salute before he started grabbing food and eating. He kept his eyes on Jacob, studying and analyzing him while he ate his fill. "What?" Jacob asked Darkness who smiled then looked at Balance who just slightly shook his head.
The door opened and closed again, this time the being did not slam it. This one was dressed in a snow-white cloak who glared at Jacob, "This abomination should not be here brothers." Light said. Light was female and she started to raise her hand but both Balance and Darkness stood up.
"This is neutral territory sister. You might be able to counter one of us, but not both of us." Darkness responded with venom. Balance simply stared at his sister.
"The abomination has a name, Light. Hi, I am Jacob." Jacob smiled at her, trying to defuse the situation. All three stared at him when both Balance and Darkness started laughing.
"Never mind brother, we should bring him here more often!!" Darkness said after he regained control. Light glared at Darkness for that comment.
"Can anyone explain why am I here please?" Jacob asked the three primordial beings. Light immediately looked at Balance, her look asking the same thing Jacob had asked.
"Let's say this is a meeting of the minds. When you fed off of Hyperion you absorbed a portion of his power and allowed me to bring you here, much to my sister's annoyance and my brother's amusement. Our window of time to talk is limited, your body will finish healing soon so let's get this show on the road." Balance responded as Light sat down.

Cathrine looked at her comatose husband, he had been laying there for 2 days now. Unresponsive to anything any healers could do and even the other Immortals were baffled by his condition. A full squad of Deathwalkers observed from the nearby shadows but said and did nothing. They were there to make sure they stayed safe while Jacob slept and recovered from whatever had happened after he fed on Hyperion. Although their psychic link was intact, it was almost dead silent from Jacob side. The Blood Bond with his bonded was also weakened but not dead, so they worried but could do nothing. It frustrated Cathrine she could do nothing to help him, they could only wait for him to wake.
Suddenly the psychic bond flooded with emotions, mostly exhaustion and weariness. "Hello beautiful, did you miss me?" Jacob asked Cathrine.
"If I did not know you were exhausted and hurt already, I would beat you for that comment alone husband," Cathrine said as she glared at Jacob.
"Ok, what did I miss? Why are you mad at me?" Jacob asked as he tried to sit up but she immediately pushed him back down into the bed. "Well if you want me in bed that bad, I won't stop you," Jacob told her with a smile. Cathrine rolled her eyes as she lay down nearly on top of him.

"You are too exhausted for any such activities Jacob and we are not mad but worried. You have been unconscious for 2 days Jacob. You nearly died feeding off that Titan, so it probably wasn't the best idea. Do not do it in the future, understand?" Cathrine told him.
Jacob was stunned silent, "I am sorry I had no idea I was gone that long Cathrine, it only felt like an hour or so. As far as feeding off the Titan, I honestly didn't think it would work. As far as what will happen in the future...I have no idea, but I will do what I have to do." Jacob pulled her closer hugging her lithe body to his trying to comfort her fears. "Even if I did die, I would come back Cathrine. I will always come back, I promise. Ok?"
Cathrine just hugged him harder causing him to moan, "Crushing my ribs Cat!! I need them to breathe." Cathrine stopped squeezing so hard but did not let go. Chalxae and June would be happy and they could finally start planning the next assault she thought as she started to fall asleep. Jacob smiled kissed her before letting darkness claim him again.

When Jacob woke again he was in the white room again, Marc was sitting opposite of him and he had actual concern in his eyes for once. "You ok Kevin? You kinda disappeared for a little while."
"Yeah, apparently age-old Titans do not agree with me. It was kind of a bit too much for my palette. So what is with the face to face?" Kevin asked the Developer.
"Let's just say we got some odd readings and you should have recovered after almost an hour in the game, instead you were unconscious 2 days in-game. It worried both the Tech people and Developers." Marc responded.
Kevin smiled, "I was still active, but I was in a meeting with a patron of sorts and receiving a history lesson. I was completely fine as far as I was aware. I was told it will not happen for a long time if it ever happens again."
"Ok, well try not to do anything stupid like that again. Wherever you were, players are not supposed to be." Marc responded while typing away on his tablet.
Kevin laughed at his statement, "That was what I was told too. I promise I won't ever go again by choice." Marc nodded then waved as darkness consumed Kevin.

Jacob woke again, Cathrine still slept and from the bond, they shared he could tell she was exhausted. He smiled as he disengaged from her standing wearily and donning regular clothing. He had both Starving and Drained De-Buffs sapping his strength. He looked back and whispered to the watching shadows for them to watch over his wife. A harrowing 15 minutes later when he stumbled into the Mess Hall like a drunkard he started piling a huge amount of food on a plate, a pitcher of wine and blood accompanied it.
"The conquering hero is finally awake!! How are you feeling sleeping beauty?" Yilme asked as she walked in sitting down opposite of him. She cast a spell on him and whatever she saw or felt brought a smile to her face.
"I am fine Yilme, I promise. I was out because Titan blood is dangerous, so make sure no one feeds off of Titans in the future. It kicks like a horse and has a heavy price for consuming it. My body feels like I went on a drinking binge, all my bones and muscles hurt like hell." Jacob told her before going back to eating. "What was the butchers' bill for the battle?" He asked the Dark Druid.
"30 among the Legion, 10 from the Tomb Guardians, 8 from the Dawn Guard, and 2 Bonded from War Parties. We broke them, but it cost us and those that lost Bonded are suffering. The backlash apparently causes debuffs against all your stats, not to mention losing a close friend." Yilme responded. It was bad, but it could have been far worse if they had not had the forces available to push them back ready.
"When we get back, we are going to start planning for our next attack on the SIsters," Jacob told her as he sat ate and planned.
