Commander Treadwill looked out at the crew of the Barracuda, the Trireme and accompanying escort had pushed closer and closer to the Lost Islands over the last seven days. Now they were on their way back to Anchorhead to repair and resupply before heading back out. Over the last week, the Barracuda had destroyed six pirate vessels alone, her patrol group had destroyed twenty and heavily damaged another dozen that had fled.
"Commander, how is everything?" the Captain of the Barracuda asked as she strode up.

"Fine Captain, the watch is peacefull and our people need it anyway after the last couple of days. The Pegasus has finished emergency repairs so we can continue at full speed. We should be in Anchorhead in three days barring any further complications. I am heading to bed, night." Treadwill saluted the Dwarf and headed for the stairs to the main deck. The few sailors still awake saluted him as he passed but Treadwell was exhausted and in need of sleep. Ted just hoped the remaining time out on patrol was peacefull.

The Pirate glared at the maps in front of him and at the Slavers Union representative trying to placate him. "Our losses mount, your assistance and promises have not been fulfilled. You have three days to give us both the men and money promised, if either is missing at that deadline not one ship sailing on the White Cap Ocean flying the Union flag will be safe. Get out of my sight." The Pirate Lord grated out causing the Slavers Union rep to run out of the Control Room.
"What do you want to do?" another person asked as the Pirate Lord continued to study the maps in front of him.
"Recall all ships and put out an edict that all Imperial shipping is off-limits effective immediately and anyone who attacks Imperial shipping will answer to me. Hopefully, the Empire of Night will leave us alone if we give them some space. If they continue as they are, they will invade the Lost Islands. GO!!" The Pirate Lord commanded.
For five centuries the Lost Islands had belonged to the Pirates of the Whitecap Ocean, now it might fall due to them acting like mercenaries and not pirates. The promises that Slavers Union had made had been good, but they hadn't delivered and now the Pirates were going to face the wrath of an Empire alone...

Jacob watched as one of his opponents flew back from hitting his chest, parts of his ribs were deformed from the hit and maybe broken. Before Jacob could capitalize on his success though the pain hit him causing him to moan and collapse to his knees as he held his right arm trying to stop it from moving. James and his other opponent immediately stopped their rush to attack him. "HEALER!!" James bellowed out causing more than one person to jump into the enclosure.

"FUCK!!! It feels like I ripped the muscles in my arm." Jacob grated out through clenched teeth. The healer was already working the shoulder and dampening the pain, but whatever damage Jacob had inflicted caused the man to frown.
"I would suggest you let your natural regeneration heal your wounds so they heal stronger than before. I would also suggest you build up to using your full speed and strength, your body is not used too what its capable of." the Healer stated and at Jacob nod moved away after putting his arm in a sling.
Jacob quickly moved out of the ring as others of the Heart Guard and Dawn Guard started sparring again. Cathrine gave him an amused chuckle and Jacob stuck his tongue out at her causing her to laugh. "I am glad my pain amuses you dear one." Jacob poked at her as she snickered at him.
"Considering you got me pregnant and I have already gained ten pounds because of you, yes I enjoy that you are in a little pain. Our daughter will be born in a couple of months, that day I will be in more pain then you have ever felt or will ever feel. So let me enjoy this little bit." Cathrine replied with a smile before kissing Jacob.
Jacob stepped away from Cathrine and grabbed her hand as they walked into the Inner City, "So dear wife, names for our daughter?" Jacob prompted.
"Elizabeth?" Cathrine prompted causing Jacob to freeze and study her.
"Why that name?" Jacob asked quietly as he pulled her to a stop.
"It was your mother's name, I wouldn't think you would have a problem with that," Cathrine responded as she hugged him.
Jacob gave her a sad smile before kissing the top of her head and continued walking.

Fate Online Character Creation...
Hayley opened her eyes and looked around. It was pure darkness all around her and she couldn't move for a few moments but then a small camp fire appeared. An old man was sitting on a log near it and waved her forward and she slowly moved forward and at his gesture, she sat down. "Hello child, this is the first time you have been here. Have you played games like Fate Online before?" The old man asked.
Haley shook her head, "No sir, I have never played games like this and I know nothing about them." Hayley replied politely.
The old man nodded and smiled reassuringly, "That's fine my dear, Fate Online centers on the Fantasy World of Ithea. There are great magics, many species, gods, and monsters. You are what we call an Immortal because you can resurrect without any magic or favor from a god, demon, or angel. The indigenous people are called Locals, not NPC.' the old man looked at her and waited for her acknowledgment before continuing. 'Now there are eight races you can choose from since this is your first time I do not recommend you create a hybrid. Now each race has certain inclinations, strengths, and weaknesses. Do you know what play style or class you wish to take?" the old man asked.
"I am sorry, I do not understand?" Hayley replied blushing uncomfortably at her ignorance. The old man smiled, but there was no malice, suddenly a box with information appeared in front of her obscuring the fire and old man in front of her.

Warrior: Warriors are the front line fighters for any race. This base class are experts in melee combat and are built to take and deal punishment. (Tank/DPS)
Rogue: Rogues are expert stealth fighters in either close-quarters combat or from a distance with a bow. These men and women are without peer when determining and using every tactical advantage on a battlefield. (DPS)
Mage: It does not matter if they are calling lightning down on their enemies, or healing allies. Magic is the bread and butter of the mage class. (DPS/Healer)
Haley read the box in front of her before trying to swiping it away. "I can use a bow?' Hayley asked and the old man nodded. 'Then I wish to be a Rogue."
The old man smiled, "The best races for a Rogue base class are Wood-Elves, Drow, Vampire, and Goblins." Hayley frowned as she considered her choices. From what little she remembered from growing up, she did not want to be a Goblin, nor a Drow. That left either Wood-Elf and Vampire to consider.
"Can you show me any information on Wood-Elves?" Hayley asked and the old man nodded and with a wave of his hand another screen popped up.

Description: The Wood-Elves of Loren'thia although diverse are united in the defense of their homeland. Due to recent internal troubles, this once stabilizing kingdom has become more withdrawn.
Every Level: Intelligence, Dexterity, and Agility will increase by 1. You will receive 2 Stat Points to distribute ever level.
Strengths: Limited Night Vision, Enhanced Hearing and Sight, Bow oriented Skills have an increased rate of gain.
Weaknesses: Having dwelt in the forests of Ithea for so long, the Wood-Elves are vulnerable to Fire magic and receive increased damage from Fire Based Magic and weapons.
Starting Location: Surface- Winding Woods Region, Aratharia Home Tree
"I think I want to be a Wood-Elf," Hayley stated.
"If that is your choice, behind me is the Cave of Creation. Head into the cave and you can create your Avatar and change your looks there." the Old Man stated. Hayley immediately stood and walked into the cave.
Two figures immediately popped into existence as she entered the cave. Hayley focused on the women and the man faded away.

Suddenly it felt like she was sliding down a water slide as she disappeared into the body before her. After a little stumbling and tripping, she made it out of the cave and back to the campfire fire. "Congrats on creating an Avatar Hayley. Now you wanted to become a Rogue, correct?" the old man prompted.
Hayley nodded her hand and the old man nodded, "Ok now all that's left is to choose your clan. You can make the choice or you can let me do it. What is your decision?"
Hayley considered the old man offered before gesturing for the old man to go ahead. The old man smiled as before he chuckled, "Goodluck girl, you will need it in the Winding Woods."
