Empire of Night- Uldon
Outer Wall
Jacob looked at the huge camp just to the east of the city that held the First, Fifth, Tenth, and Eleventh Legions. The Thirteenth Legion had been assigned the Arathia Basin, while the Twelveth Legion had been moved to help garrison Uldon. Wagons and carts were being currently loaded with all the supplies the army on the move would need. The Siege Engines that had been broken down for travel were already within the camp. Several Immortals had tried to infiltrate the camp and been warned to stay away. Those that were persistent were arrested and given a 24-hour jail sentence and a fine of 10 Gold.
The Eighth Legion was still camped across the Misty River north of the city in case any of the members of the Free City Alliance decided to attack the Empire. Based on the reports from Immortals and his scouts, the Free City Alliance was only a few steps from an all-out civil war.
The campaign to retake the Obsidion Kingdom was going well and they had succeeded in taking the Western Hall. Jacob had decided to halt the ongoing campaign in favor of finishing Ordgan. The Free City was suffering economically from losing its workforce at its Iron Mines and military wise after losing five thousand troops in an attempt to invade the Empire. Jacob hoped the city would surrender, but he did not expect it.
"My father demanded that I return too Cliphis. He said he would not have his daughter or granddaughter living under the boot of Imperial tyranny.' Tiffany laughed at what she had said. 'I told him that I am the Steward of Uldon. That I am the voice of the King and that I would rather live under that tyranny then have my daughter live under his greed and stupidity. My father has not replied for some reason." Tiffany told Jacob as she laughed.
Jacob smiled, "As I said, you are welcome to stay as long as you want. If your job and this place makes you happy...stay. It is that simple and don't let your father tell you otherwise." Jacob told her as he analyzed his Shadow Magic Skill Tree. Jacob had managed to get too level 55 once they had captured the Western Hall, it was time to expand his magic. Jacob was tempted to purchase the third rank of Heart of Darkness, but he decided to expand his defensive skills yet again. Jacob bought the Initiate Rank in Shadow Armor and Shadow Shield, leaving Jacob with one Utility Point left.

Jacob smiled and looked at Darren, "So is everything set up for our absence?"
"Yes, Tarren is in charge while we are gone this time. The newbies are doing well at the Fortress of Midnight. Scouts are already prowling two days ahead of the main army and so far they have found nothing." Darren informed Jacob who acknowledged his words as they walked off the wall. A tight ring of guards around them. Jacob could see the new Civil Legionnaires walking the streets. They wore leather armor and were armed with a long knife and Iron Wrapped Truncheon. Having wielded a similar weapon before, Jacob knew just how powerful the deceptively simple-looking weapon was. Jacob quickly Analyzed the nearest to get a sense of how powerful they were.

The guard jerked when Jacob Analyzed him but calmed once he saw who had done it and simply saluted and continued upon his patrol route. "Town guards, what else did you manage to unlock for everyone?" Darren asked as they walked the streets of the sleeping city. Considering how much work they had been putting into the Obsidion Kingdom the last couple weeks, it was no surprise Darren did not know.
"Civic Legionnaires, Town and City Buffs, Auction House, Basic Trainers, and Teleportation Pads. I am saving up again to unlock training courses currently." Jacob informed the Shadowmaster.
Darren frowned, "If you do not mind me asking, why not unlock a Portal Hub? All the major capitols have them." He asked as he studied their surroundings and the few people they passed.
"One, it will put Eternal Night on the map for all the Immortals before the Vampire Race is unlocked for the masses. No thanks. Two, its the most expensive Perk we have Unlocked currently and all the newbies coming on patch day will need all the Basic Class trainers and training courses more than a quick way to the northern kingdoms." Jacob replied as he let his eyes roam the streets.

Free Lands- East/West road between Uldon and Ordgan
5 days later...
The Legions were still rousing and eating breakfast as Jacob, Nadal, and the four Generals looked at the tactical map of the City of Ordgan. "As you can all see, the Outer Wall is ten feet tall and eight feet wide. The Inner Wall is fifteen feet tall and ten feet wide. The Iron Pits are located to the south-east of the city and will not impede the deployment of the Legions. The road although splits a mile outside the city, and also leads directly to the south gate. Ordgan has two external gates, one on the south wall, the other on the north wall.' Nadal informed the attendees, 'Our infiltration teams have decerned the strength of their shield and it will fall after six hours of bombardment. They only have one shield from what we have found out. After losing so many men at the Battle of Blue River, they have approximately four thousand troops left, we believe the Slavers Union has stationed nearly two thousand troops within or around the city. They will fight with Ordgan." Nadal finished up the brief as Brox and the other generals continued to study the detailed tactical map of the city.
Jacob continued to study the map and the plan they had laid out. They were pushing hard for the city, by dawn tomorrow they would be camped at a small village of Tragons Hallow. A small village of a couple hundred, the scouts had already inspected it for any enemy troop movements. Besides a small town guard, no armed presence had been noted.
"Did you hear me, Legionnaire? I gave you an order!!" Brox ground out over the ongoing discussion. Jacob looked up at the situation. Brox had given an order to a Corporal, who was studiously ignoring him.
"I don't take orders from mountain dogs." the Orc responded causing Brox to grind his teeth but stopped when Jacob held out one finger too him. Jacob calmly walked over too the Orc giving him a small smile before winding up and slamming his fist into the Orcs face rapidly three times. Teeth and blood flew as the Orc went down.
"GET YOU ASS UP LEGIONNAIRE!!' Jacob roared out and new instincts drilled into the Orc over the last month and a half kicked in. 'If you ever refuse an order from a superior officer again I will send your head back to your clan, your spirit will be cursed and sent to the darkest pits of the Abyss. Do I make myself clear??" Jacob hissed out in the Orcs ear.
Another Orc stepped forward and saluted, "Sir, this Corporeal is part of one of my squads, how may I be of assistance?"
Jacob continued to glare and stand just inches from the southern Orc, "This Legionnaire is stripped of his rank, two weeks pay, and give him shit duty for the next month. He decided to disobey and disrespect a superior officer. Feel free to remind him of this every day for the next month, I DON"T GIVE A FUCK WHO GIVES HIM ORDERS. IF IT'S A DWARF, ELF, DROW, HIS MOTHER, IF THEY ARE OF A SUPERIOR RANK, HE WILL FOLLOW ORDERS!!!' Jacob roared out in the Orcs' ear causing the newly minted Private to flinch. 'GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY SIGHT PRIVATE!!!" Jacob roared causing the Sergeant to snatch the Private by his ear and pull him away.
"I could have handled that my king," Brox stated once the Legionnaires were out of earshot.
Jacob snorted, "I have absolute faith in the fact you could have beat the shit out of him or killed him, but he insulted you. A general of a Legion. Generals are only appointed with my approval, thus he was insulting me and since I was here, I handled it." Jacob explained his action and Brox nodded. Jacob dismissed the Legionnaire from his thoughts, it was time to get back to planning.
