Jacob dismissed the Dungeon Quest information as the other member readied themselves to continue the dive. It had been brutal so far and they had already faced three Mini-Bosses, Jacob wanted the levels but gaining them this way was almost brutal. On the other side of the coin, they had not lost anyone, and they had a food fight..." Come, on fearless leader let's get this show on the road so we can get out of this hell hole." Tarren stated as he helped Jacob to his feet.

Dungeon- Fallen Kingdom of Dem Darohm
Prison Wing
Jacob's Power Slash took the Duergar Raiders' head before he even knew that Jacob was in the cell with him. The Dwarf handing from the chains was eyeballing Jacob but had not said a thing as he made his way over to him, "We are doing this quietly. Give us a few minutes to find all the keys to get you and anyone else that is imprisoned here, free. Please keep silent until then. We will not leave you or anyone else in this hell-hole." Jacob whispered in the Dwarfs ear, who simply nodded.
Jacob quickly went over to the raider and other then some silver and extra shackles, he had no keys though. "Do you know who has the keys?" Jacob hissed out to the Dwarf.
"Aye, the Warden. He will be either on this floor or the bottom floor of the prison wing. He has some favorites that he likes to torture and/or abuse." The Dwarf responded with a croak. Jacob took out a cup and filled it with water before feeding the Dwarf the cup and leaving the jug within arms reach before heading out.
The Prison Wing was a long hallway with doors on either side. Almost every single one was occupied by a Dwarf, both male, and females. All of them showed signs of long-term abuse and shied away from the Immortals for the most part. "We got to find the Warden. The Dwarf I rescued stated he has the keys and he will be on this floor or the bottom floor of the Prison Wing." Jacob stated in the Raid channel. Anastasia acknowledged the information. The Healers were following everyone else and helping those they could from the physical damage, but they could do almost nothing for the mental damage they had received as long as they were here.
The bodies of the Orc and Duergar raiders were being piled up in the hall after being looted. All of the raiders were relatively low level for the dungeon, anywhere between level 10 to 15. Trouble if they swarmed the raiding party, but on an individual basis...easy experience if not much though.
Darren was playing with the wall at the end of the hall causing Jacob to smile, "What you looking for skippy?" causing the Shadowmaster to turn and glare at him.
"I can see an outline of a door here, if I can find some way to open the passage, we can bypass any guard stations on the main stairs and sneak into the lower levels of the prison wing.' Darren explained as he continued to work, 'I know you are a tank that is flashy and likes to grab attention but...got it!!!" A portion of the wall receded and moved aside. Jacob immediately filled the gap looking for any threats but it only revealed stairs leading down and a bloody Dwarf strapped to the table.
"Come to finish me you bastard finally!!! I will never reveal my clan secrets or where the survivors fled!!" The Dwarf called out. He probably meant to yell it but the Dwarf was noticeably exhausted and his health was strobing at the less than 10%. Jacob immediately called for Yilme as he made his way over to the Dwarf.
The Dwarf had extensive physical damage all over his body, his hands were obviously broken, parts of his skin had been removed, and his eyes had been gouged out. All this and the Dwarf was telling his captors to fuck off. Jacob immediately got another cup out of his inventory and sliced his wrist and filling cup to the brim before moving to the Dwarf, "Drink. I am not one of your captors and I am not going to hurt you. This drink will help you heal and a healer is on the way." Jacob told the Dwarf as he tipped the cup back a little at a time as he pinged the party chat for a healer again.
The Dwarfs bruising was fading before their eyes, the patches of skin were starting to regrow, and the Dwarfs broken fingers were snapping back in place. Jacob quickly covered the Dwarfs eye sockets in case they started to regrow. Yilme hissed as she entered the room, smelling both the blood and the state of the Dwarf as she immediately started casting spells to speed his regeneration, "I gave him one cup of ' Jacob taped his heart and Yilme understood immediately, 'to speed his healing."
"You can move your hand now lad, I know not to open my eyes too much." The Dwarf stated. Jacob immediately put the cup back in his inventory before the Dwarf saw it and removed his hand and stepped back.
"We got two more levels, the second one is the same as the first level, but the third level opens up to an office the Warden was there. Big bastard, some type of warrior Duergar." Darren informed them as he ghosted up the stairs and shared the info on the Mini-Boss
Name: Korag the Corruptor
Level: 42 (Mini-Boss)
Health: 200,000/200,000
Abilities: Imprison, Torturous Strike, Unknown
"Free my kin and me, please. Get us out of the cursed place and we will owe you." The Dwarf beseeched Jacob from the table.
Dungeon Quest Issued: Tortured Souls

Jacob almost cursed as he accepted the Quest, Anastasia started cursing in the raid channel because everyone would have gotten the Quest added to their queue and it would slow their progress at clearing the main dungeon. Anastasia came storming into the room and glared at Jacob, "You realize when you proclaim 'its not your fault' for all those insane quests you receive. This one is your fault and this Dungeon is difficult as is without saddling us with a bunch of damaged Dwarves."
Jacob coughed and gestured to the Dwarf that was still strapped to the table and glaring at the Raid leader who had the sense to blush. "We are going to free his clansmen and give them a portal scroll to get out of here. I am sure the city can take care of a couple hundred recuperating Dwarves and the Thunderhammers will welcome them with open arms, I am sure of it." The Dwarf jerked around when Jacob mentioned another clan of Dwarves causing Jacob to chuckle at the look of surprise on the Dwarfs face.
"Let's stack up the raid here and get going. We can clear out the second floor then take care of the Mini-Boss and third floor after that." Darren stated as he stood by the stairs.
----------------------------------------
Clearing the second level of the prison was even easier than the first, fewer guards but more Dwarves. Another party as assigned to get them all up to the first floor of the prison. Taking down the Warden had been a pain in the ass, he was a mix of a Rogue and Spell slinger, all his spells were rooted in Fire though. Four parties had managed to down him while the remainder of the Immortals were clearing out all the Orc and Duergar raiders from the bottom floor of the prison. It took another hour to get all the wounded and broken Dwarves to the top hour, even then some of them thought it was some new way for them to be tortured. Glagor had been informed that some former prisoners were on their way to Eternal Night and that they were to be housed in the palace until the recuperated. Vognan Ironstriker, the Dwarf they had pulled off the table, had insisted that Jacob come to see him after the Immortals got out of there. Jacob felt another quest in the wind, but they still had to finish their current dungeon Jacob thought as they left the prison wing and went further into the Citadel.

From the prison wing, they had two choices, both were heavily defended by mixed groups of Raiders and the more Elite Warriors, all still mixed together. In the end, Anastasia flipped a coin and we went left, 30 minutes later we entered the forge area of the Citidal. Within lay Bakh Stormcaller and Grimlock Ironspear, the Duergar had a spear and shield and the Orc was a Shaman or druid.
Name: Bakh Stormcaller
Level: 44 (Mini-Boss)
Health: 240,000
Abilities: Healing Winds, Cutting Winds, Unknown
Name: Grimlock Ironspear
Level: 45 (Boss)
Health: 300,000
Abilities: Shield Bash, Weapon Sweep, Unknown
After studying the two bosses Anastasia started snapping out orders, "Groups 1, 6, 3, and 8 are on the Tank, 2,7,4, and 9 the healer. Groups 5 and 10, you guys are our reserve and will pick up any adds. Group one goes first and will pull the tank to the left side of the forge, group two try to pin the healer to the right side. 1 minute to buff up and prepare."
A Firebolt to the back of Grimlocks head caught his attention and anger. Jacob intercepted his Charge and a flurry of strikes and slashes drove the Duergar away from the Orc healer. Jacob ducked under the Duergars sweeping spear and slashed along the Duergars ribs. This put Jacobs back against the nearby furnace. Grimlock smiled thinking he had gained some advantage, but Jacob had exposed his back and flank to all the DPS in the parties fighting with him.
An Elementalist, Necromancer, two Arcane Mages, Warlock, and Three Rangers opened fire on him blasting him with all sorts of spells weakening and angering Grimlock. Jacob gave the Duergar a feral smile as he continued his assault.
----------------------------------------
Anastasia watched as Jacob continued to maneuver around the Duergar as she and the rest of the ranged DPS pounded his back. She quickly checked on the fight against the Shaman before she started her rotation, Shatter Shot, followed by Rapid Fire, Arcane Shot, and Poison Arrow.
Break and check the other ongoing fight and surrounding area for adds. Check Jacob and Tarrens health, begin rotations again. Shatter Shot dropped her target's armor by 10%, Arcane Shot ate a lot of Mana if she charged it up, but the basic shot only required 500 Mana. Until she got to level 50, she really didn't unlock any abilities that used too much Mana. Most of her abilities used Stamina for the most part or the combination of the two.
Suddenly Grimlocks spear glowed and he slashed it toward Jacob who managed to block it but it sent him crashing into another furnace. Anastasia didn't even have to say anything, group sixs' tank immediately stepped in and used an ability that slammed his shield into the Boss three times in rapid succession. Grimlock turned in anger and immediately engaged the Shield-Warden as a Priest ran to the fallen Jacob.
----------------------------------------
Jacob groggily opened his eyes, everything hurt as he tried to keep his eyes open. He could feel someone using magic on him, healing his wounds but whatever was happening it wouldn't be enough. Jacob immediately started pawing at his belt until he managed to grab one of the vials there, he immediately popped the top and downed it. Strawberry, Jacob threw the empty vial away and pulled another and downed it. Cherry flavored and based on its size, Medium.
Suddenly pain flooded his brain causing him to scream.

Jacob was surprised he was alive, "What train hit me? Was it the Red Line or Green Line?" Jacob asked the Priest who was trying not to laugh as she poured magic into him. Even with taking the Tonic and Healing potion, Jacobs health pool was just over 10% and dropping. He had just over 3 minutes until he could take another potion as the Priest cast two minor HoTs and a big heal that took him up to just over 1/3. The two HoTs were negating the Open Wound and Internal Bleeding, but unless he got fixed, Jacob would die. Suddenly a dark beam of light flooded the area Jacob was laying in and his health started increasing again.
Battle Alert...
Buff Received Dark Side of the Moon: Health Regeneration increased by 50%. Open Wounds will rapidly close. (Duration 1 Minute)
Battle Alert...
Jacob smiled as he received a quick PM from Yilme, "Don't move idiot or the Buff will be canceled and I cannot cast it again for 5 minutes." Jacob smiled but didn't say anything. For healing stationary wounded, it was a great buff. He wondered if all healer types received such spells as he watched the wounds on his arm close.
Jacob thanked the Priest as he stood, his health pool was back to over two-thirds and climbing. All his bones had healed up, and he was eager to even the score with Grimlock Ironspear. Jacob quickly analyzed him and his health was already under 200,000, but the Shield-Warden had already been rotated out and a Dwarven Paladin had taken his place. A Human Knight was getting ready to rotate the Dwarf out when Grimlock disengaged and jumped up before dropping down driving his spear into the ground sending shards of stone and a wave of spikes around him outward.
The Dwarf was a bloody mess pinned to the wall by several spikes, the Knight had a couple of rock fragments embedded in his armor, three of their Mages were down. Jacob cursed and triggered Charge followed by Piercing Lunge and War Cry to get the Bosses attention away from the dying Dwarf.
Jacob immediately moved away as he activated Summon Fire Elemental followed by Hemorrhage and Reaver Attack before falling back again out of range of Grimlock's spear. The Fire Elemental continued to pelt the Bosses back with Firebolts, Fireballs, and streams of Fire. Jacob checked his health again and it was just over 100,000 as the archers and mages reentered the fight.
Jacob triggered Shield Charge and slammed his armored bulk into the Duergar and ramming him back until they hit the furnace. Jacob heard the Duergar grunt in pain as he stepped back and activated Triple Slash aiming at the still reeling Duergars throat. Grimlock's Eyes bulged then glared at Jacob as started swinging and stabbing with his spear.
Jacob quickly fell back before Grimlock trying to stay out of range and avoid another punishing hit like he had received before. Still, Jacob received some damage and his health started to go down again. Jacob ducked under the sweeping spear and triggered Shield Bash causing Grimlock to stagger back and allowing Jacob to go on the offensive. Suddenly a Meteor flashed in front of Jacob and slammed into the Boss, the Fire Elemental followed the attack quickly, its hands turning into twin jets of flame as it closed with the critically wounded Duergar before it jumped onto him winking at Jacob and exploded.
When the flames and smoke cleared, the Duergar was dead. Flesh from Grimlock had been seared away and massive damage to the remainder of his body. "What was that?" Anastasia asked as she ran up to the blast area.
Jacob shrugged his shoulders, "I have no idea. I hardly ever use that ability because it has a 24-hour cooldown. That's the third or fourth time I have used it and the first time I have seen the Elemental do that. Anyone else have anything to add?" Jacob told her completely stunned at what the summoned Elemental had done.
"I think that was an Immolation ability, but its a Tier 5 ability for a Pyromancer. A simple Fire-Elemental should not have had access to the spell to do that." Ashley added as she strode over looking at the ruins of the Boss before studying Jacob and frowning.
"What?" Jacob asked her.
Ashley frowned, "One of the basic skills Mages get is Arcane Sight, we can see flows of Mana, Enchantments, and other things. I can see a line of Mana from where the Fire Elemental was going to you."
Jacob frowned at her, "I am a complete Warrior build, Blood Knight and Defender, I don't have access to Mana. It's probably just the ring I used to summon the Elemental and nothing to do with me." Jacob told her as he walked away. Both women continued to study him, neither one fully believing him.
