One Day, Thomas Edward Jones was killed in an accident. While waiting in Purgatory, he was taken to Hell, where he made a deal with the Devil, where he would return to Earth as the Host of a Black Mask, which had a Demon sealed within. The two now work together to cleanse the City of Sinners, Demons, and Supervillains, while executing those who are beyond Redemption.
