Black Kettle is a frequency knight - an artificial being living an algorithm set to guiding spirits from a dark world towards the Light from a Narrow door. For ages, he went unused, sitting in prayer (power save), dreaming his dreams.  One of his dreams - his most important - came to life as he slept:  the wild Tomokava Blue Stellar, a sentient thought-form. Tomo awakens Kettle, and the impossible pair set off together to answer the call of the transcendent being, and the shattered world, that needs them. Something has closed the Narrow Door. Black Kettle, and his bright thought-form will find out what - or who - has condemned the world to a profound spiritual death. Tomo is armed with love. Kettle is armed with Tomo.... and a sword with no match in the universe.
