Ponish civilization is thriving. It’s cities grow to unheard of heights, and ponies live in an era of peace and security. Continued progress brings about sweeping changes to everyday life, prosperity and productivity thriving unbounded. To some, this world might be considered a paradise. But to others, it is little more than a gilded cage, limiting their true potential and ambition. Even in a golden age, there exist those who would strike out against fate, deny the world the straight path forwards that it craves. Who would divert the course of history to further their own ideals, their own beliefs, to create the world they wish to see; even if the path there means wading through seas of blood. This is their story. To restore the birthright of all pony-kind, they will strike out against the order of the world on a mission that could bring ponish civilization itself to the brink of annihilation... And perhaps birth something new to take its place. An MLP alternate universe story featuring an original setting and cast, but they are ponies. No knowledge of MLP is necessary to understand this story. Present tense, third person. The prologue chapters are specifically designed to be a microcosm of the story as a whole so that should give you a good idea of the general tone.
