A girl is cast out in a foreign land, far from the trappings that lead her to current circumstances. Lacking many of the memories of her life leading up to this moment, she can only recall one thing for certain. She is 'blessed' by a Goddess. Though that's debatable. For every time she feels a sliver of her patrons 'love', pain or grief was just a breath away. The Goddess's idea of protection was to cast her away from everyone she knew and loved. Now she must rebuild, and re-discover who she is. She must fight her way through the pain of a past lost and a future unsure, for she has no other choice. She'll get stronger so she never has to endure loss again. Whatever the world has in store for her she will find that peaceful place, those people, she can call home. Even if she has to forsake a Goddess to do it. This is my first ever story so please keep that in mind, I'll try to update when I can, but this is just a fun hobby of mine. I hope you enjoy! The story can be dark at times and contains dark themes, but ultimately is all about overcoming the encroaching darkness by holding onto the things that matter like love and hope.
