And so it was that Taubitha was there in her dream-space, greeted by the looming, semiopaque figure that talked only in system messages as it offered her what seemed to be a powerful [class] to rival Kahli's own [class].
[Now, let me show you what my class can do.]
With that, the strange entity zipped up the hole in reality it had created when it had originally entered Taubitha's dream. Then, it stalked over towards her, walking as if it were a tauman on stilts, finally standing but a few paces from her.
[Behold, Taubitha!]
The entity raised its long fingers and picked out a seemingly empty place of space, and with that pulled down, down, down, and that space unzipped once again into a brilliant swirling whirl of light, energy, and shapes that seemed at once familiar yet altogether incomprehensible.
"Like, oh my gods! What am I looking at, again?"
[It's the underlying dimensional fabric, that is to say, it's the silken cloth of all reality.]
"That sounds mega intense."
[Indeed, it is quite intense, Taubitha. But it is also the key and the source of my power. See, my class allows someone to warp and control this fabric. It allows us to cut, to zip, and indeed to sew into it machinations of our own doing. It is a power that is almost - key word of course here being almost, for there is a reason I oppose Kahli by function as well as by principle - almost unrivaled in all of existence for its ability to change and control existence itself. You can warp and bend conscious experience to your will with this class, Taubitha.]
"Like, really? What do you mean?"
[Well, for one example, it's how I'm here walking and speaking to you through your dream. However, there's so much more here. Why don't you join me in here, seeing what can be seen on the other side of dimensionality?]
Taubitha was a little afraid to take the entity's outstretched fingers, but it was also so tempting. It was something that was so bewitching that indeed she couldn't look away. With that, she did indeed grasp the being's fingers - they felt cold and almost weightless, like more structured versions of feathers almost - and walked towards the unzipped fabric of reality. In a blinding flash, the light and swirls enveloped her and the entity whole, taking her body and her consciousness and seeming to consume and congeal them into but one sole thing in a brilliant miasma of electricity and turbulence.
----------------------------------------
The turbulence continued, and indeed it felt almost like they were standing - or floating, as it were - in the eye of a hurricane. Taubitha sighed deeply with shock.
"Like, I've still got my body? I thought I'd-" she looked the entity up and down, "-no offense, but I thought for some reason that I'd end up looking like you."
[Silly, silly tauman. While I understand your perspective, that's not at all what's been going on. See, the reason I appear in this manner to you is because indeed this is my current form. It's as simple as that. If I yet had another body, then indeed I would inhabit immediately. I ought to tell you now, I envy you deeply, having a corporeal form. All the same, be not afraid - I contain much too much energy and power to even try and inhabit such a puny tauman form as your own, and indeed even if you leveled up thousands of times it would indeed be the same. An entity such as myself needs a specially crafted body in order to truly exist as you taumans do so effortlessly.]
Taubitha shivered a little as she watched the geometric patterns swirl impossibly around her in every cascading direction. "A specially crafted body? What kind of an entity are you, anyway?"
[Best to not focus on that right now, Taubitha. I must warn you that although I am mighty powerful, we have a limited amount of time to spend together. Time is always a precious resource to us... although it is not to some others... Regardless, I won't dwell on that now. Please, let me show you what one can do with the class of Dimensional Wizard.]
"You [class] is, like, called [Dimensional Wizard]?" asked Taubitha with a snort.
[Yes, is there something funny about that?]
"It just, like, sounds totally dramatic," said Taubitha.

[Taubitha, we're beholding all of the fabric of reality right here, okay? What about that is not dramatic? Dimensional Wizard is an incredibly powerful class, indeed I think it's the best class, and I'm here to show you why. Now if you'd rather not get the class, if you think you're too good for it, or that maybe you'll just destroy Kahli without it, then that's all very well and good. But I was under the impression that you might want a super powerful class to help you destroy her, and possibly even bring the world to its knees under your reign of terror, and for something like that you need a really amazing class. A class, kind of like this one, I might say. The best class, many others might say, although of course not everyone agrees. Of course, anyone who doesn't think it's the best class, well, who cares what they think?]
"Like, oh my gods, what the hell are you even saying right now?"
[I'm just saying the obvious, which is that Dimensional Wizard is indeed the best class anybody who had a system could ever have. But that's beside the point. Just go ahead and check this out. Take my fingers again, let us step into your intention.]
"What does that mean?"
[I want you to fixate your cognitive energy on something. Anything at all. And I want you to charge to concentration up to a nigh impossible degree, so that your entire mind is consumed by one thought and one thought only. Then, when you have achieved such a state, I want you to step with me into the flashing lights and geometry before us.]
"But, like, what is that going to do?"
[Well, you see, what I'm going to do is briefly allow you to tap into one of my Dimensional Wizard abilities, which allows the manipulation of a dimensional rift such as this one based upon your intent.]
"I don't, like, totally understand what you mean."
The entity made a sound that almost sounded like a whirring wind, and indeed along with that a creak that almost approximated a groan. Then, it resumed its normal system speak.
[There are an infinite number of universes that make up what we consider all existence. Did you ever pay attention in pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-post-fourthenary school?]
"Like, not really." Taubitha shrugged. "My parents paid for somebody to do most of my assignments for me."
[...Classic. Well, regardless, the concept here is that there is something considered a bit of a multiverse here wherein infinite possibilities exist. And where we are, the dimensional fabric, allows us the ability to tap into all of that and indeed also to control and manipulate it. If you do indeed decide to take up the class that is Dimensional Wizard, then all of this untapped power and potential will be accessible to you.]
"Like, oh my gods! That's totally crazy!"
[Yes, indeed, it is pretty crazy. Crazy awesome, that is. There's a reason I said that this is the best class, Taubitha, and indeed there's a reason that it's my class, too. Are you interested in seeing it in action, still, now that you understand it all a bit better?]
"Like, totally, yes! Let's see this shit!"
[Great. Now, like I said, concentrate your mind and your energy and then hold tightly on to my fingers. Then, let us walk together into the fabric itself, and see what it weaves itself into on our behalf. Remember, possibilities are only limited by your imagination. Well, and your level, of course, and a number of other factors that we'll need to go over if you do indeed accept the class. All that said, well, you ought to try it out anyhow.]
With that, Taubitha focused her mental energy, and indeed she was able to conjure something of interest in her psyche.
"Like, I've totally thought of something!"
[Excellent, Taubitha. Let us experience it, together.]
Taubitha grasped the long, creepy fingers of the entity and walked alongside it into the near blinding flurry, the myriad of geometry, the amalgamation of insanity that was indeed the fabric of reality itself.
----------------------------------------
And there she stood, in a pink room that smelled distinctly of jasmine and peony. It was lit by bright, fluorescent bioluminescent planters, which were known for being just bright enough for an office room but too bright for a home. Taubitha and the entity were standing before a counter where a jolly looking pair of lips floated in the air.
"Like, oh my gods, welcome welcome!" said the lips. "My name is Jade, and I'm your attendant. Please, do take a robe and then pick a seat!"
The entity leaned over to Taubitha in confusion.
[What in the bloody hell is happening, Taubitha?]
"I took us to an interdimensional spa day!" she said with glee as she ran over to the closet and picked out a robe, throwing it on immediately. It was at first too big, then it shrunk down and conformed as a perfect fit to her body. "Go ahead, pick yourself out a robe already, new bestie!"
[...I am so confused.]
The entity walked over and grabbed a robe with hesitation. It immediately resized to fit even their otherworldly proportions. It glanced around the room, eventually finding a large, pink chair beside Taubitha that was perfectly fitted for it.
As they laid down, Jade floated over to greet them. There was a small bottle floating beside her body, which was of course a huge mouth. "My attendants will be right here to work on you. In the meantime, please do enjoy some nonessential oils!"
Taubitha and the entity laid there and relaxed.
[These nonessential oils smell pretty good.]
"Like, oh my gods, I know? Sometimes it makes me wonder if they ought to be called essential oils." Taubitha chuckled at her silly little joke. What an absurd thing to call an oil.
[All that said, Taubitha, what do you think of the class so far?]
"So far?" Taubitha laughed. "Like, oh my gods! So I can change dimensions whenever, and it'll make me at least as powerful as Kahli?"
[Essentially, yes.]
"Then, like, sign me the fuck up!"
[Great. Then I can start telling you how it all will work.]
