Synopsis
As the world grew more and more artificial, people got very reliant on fine technology. From smartphones and wireless gadgets, the trend of daily devices grew more and more invasive. Times came when amputating one’s limb to replace it with a stronger, more functional and efficient bionic substitute was more common than ‘staying natural’.
However, nature didn’t stay far behind. A genus of a common fungus evolved to feed on electrical current and use humans as a spore spreading vessel. Technology like bionic prosthetics, neural or muscle chips, or any other kind of fine computing system became a threat. Before the right measures were taken, the fungus spread around the world, ending the modern civilization as we know it. That was almost a decade ago.
A group of survivors lasted until now in an underground shelter in the middle of a city. The supplies are running short and the time has come they had to start exploring the new world.
