A young group of friends struggle through school together in a Telamian dojo. Their country is caught between two powerful nations who are a constant threat to their well-being. Conflict is a normal part of life. One wrong move in battle means defeat and dishonor, but the same goes for the culture they live in. For a Telamian, how one fights and lives are inseparable. Together, they are called a "Way". Each of them must discover how to live and fight not only for their own needs and desires, but for others as well. As they create their own Ways from the Ways of their parents and village, they will encounter the Ways of others that will forever change their paths.
