The Flame Emperor, worshipped as a living god has been dead for a hundred years. The founder of the Battlezone Empire lost to the ravages of time and forgotten myths. His beloved the Ice Empress has ruled in his absence, a bored immortal who allows the nobles and elite to control a corrupted and decadent Empire. A hidden project creates a flesh copy of the original Flame Emperor but without his powers, his weapons, his armour he is reborn as a base slave. He is angry at the Empire he once ruled over, angry at the state of affairs, angry that his plans to create Battlezone to end conflict, wars and poverty ended in a decaying country which once held such promise. Vowing to himself to destroy what he once built he needs to regain his former godhood and meet his beloved once more for answers.
