After the threat of war had been neutralised rather than walking away from Battle School Benton opted to not only return to it but come back at the new Commander of the school with the goal of setting up the next generation of peacekeepers. However Benton runs into many morale implications regarding a student he takes under his wing bringing up flashes of the past.
