Dirk is the bastard son of half elf lady Aurus. He lives alone with his mother in peace until the dominion falls. Hate brews and parties unite to hunt down anyone that's impure throughout the kingdom. Elves are captured and their ears clipped, or worse. Aurus begs Dirk to flee with her to Aeghnhielm, where they will be safe. He refuses and stays to defend their land only to be met with tragedy.
