There are six basic ingredients to the most basic adventurers provision: bread.  Ingredients: 1 tablespoon sugar 2 1/2 teaspoons yeast 1 cup lukewarm water 2 1/2 cups flour 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons oil Directions: Dissolve yeast and 1/2 teaspoon sugar in warm water. Let stand until bubbles form on surface. Whisk together remaining sugar, salt, and 1 cup of flour. Stir oil into yeast mixture. Pour into flour mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, to form a soft dough... Looks easy doesn't it? But there is a lot more to bread and baking than you would think.  REMINDER: The next time you retrieve that golden loaf you take for granted, keep in mind that it is the most artfully stacked item your inventory will ever possess.
