Synopsis

uVR Earth, an advanced piece of tech that fused man and machine. It granted humans the power of a supercomputer in the skull space of their brains, the dawn of a new age in humanity. But the technology leaped before social laws could catch up. With machines integrated into your brains, your thoughts became data that could be stolen. You might have just thought of eating an ice cream. A second later, your Augmented Reality interface would advertise the closest ice cream shop. Privacy? Is that edible? Can I eat it? uVR Earths took data from your brain. Meaning, your eyes became the camera. Anything you see today might be found on the internet later the same day. People already have an addiction to smartphones. But now, all the features of a smartphone are integrated into their brains. What is the outcome of that you ask? You know it already. Such a revolutionary tech; does it make sense to use it for a VRMMORPG? A mere VR game, seriously? Why do that when corporates can make you work through Virtual Reality? The moment your boss calls, you’ll log in to Virtual Reality and appear before the office space constructed in the VR world. You’ll happily slave away, freely! You can work more and fatten the corporates further. Very fun, right? Exactly! It’s a futuristic world that you, me, and everyone will die to experience at least once. Sadly, our MC thinks it’s a dystopia and resists the corporate whales with his shrimp-like power. Unfortunately, this is his story. What to expect: A scientific take on corporate abuse when VR tech is made a reality. A decent slow burn with an OP MC that tries to educate society on problems with the VR tech, often failing. A unique power system that realistically makes sense when you think about it. It’s all set in the real world. Ps: This may or may not be our future. If it becomes a reality, don’t sue me. I’m not giving them ideas.
