“Master cannot open the beast taming space tomorrow or anytime soon…”
These were the exact words from Joanne that brought the entire party to a halt.
Upon enquiry and a verification by Zi Yang’s own talent, everyone learned it was indeed so and the reason.
The reason was simple.
Zi Yang’s spiritual sea of conscious is too dense.
Before a detailed explanation from Joanne began, Baize and Dark Void had consciously left the room under pretext of managing affairs and Zi Ming.
Mei Li did not leave. Even if it is bit overstepping her bounds, she wants to know if there is anything serious with her kid.
No one saw anything wrong with that.
Then Joanne explained, “As per my database, the energy Master exploded during awakening is actually the qi found at the junction of the Chaotic and Hongmeng world.
The same qi exists in his conscious sea.
The qi that a normal 16-year-old would have in their conscious sea is the void energy of this world, which is almost equal or rather, still a tad short of normal chaos qi.”
Zi Yang reiterated and summed, “So in summary, my sea of conscious is too powerful and this extreme chaos qi, let's call it that, is too dense for normal process to work for opening a beast taming space?”
A.I. Joanne nodded mechanically.
She still had her tiny bot body.
Mei Li was relieved that it was just more difficult, not something to be worried about.
It’s not like Zi Yang had anything easy until now.
Her boy is a fighter, and he had a powerful master now.
She was relieved, then stood and bowed to the Void Empress and said, “Void Empress, I will leave this kid to you. I am no help but I feel relieved that he has someone to help him along now.”
Void Empress also stood and nodded politely to return the greeting.
“Fret not. We will figure out a way.”
Zi Yang then saw that Mama Mei walked out of the room with a calm smile.
He let out a wry smile.
She is too confident of him, isn’t she?
In fact, he felt the same way too. But, come on – at least show some concern!
Or feign it.
Void Empress understood what her disciple was thinking just by his facial expressions.
She was really amused.
Is this kid a little needy?
Should she show concern?
Well, alright. Let’s do it.
Then she did.
“Zi Yang, feel alright? Don’t worry, we’ll make it work.”
Zi Yang would have felt better if his master was not trying to imitate Mama Mei’s doting tone to Zi Ming.
He blushed to his neck and ears.
Void Empress chuckled at his reaction.
Thankfully, Joanna eased his embarrassment, and also told something incredible!
“Master, I have a way for you to open beast taming space!”
“Oh, how?”
Joanne informed that his awakening instilled some feedback energy into her and she paid that energy equivalent to chaotic universe to figure out the results in detail!
Void Empress then remembered the two lights that the supreme being had shot before disintegration.
He would have foreseen this, then.
Joanne transformed into a white screen and sound came in as did letters on the screen.
Three ways to open beast taming space for Master Zi Yang:
1. Use lots of void crystals, ethereal space stones, or beast master space relics to grind the energy for about 9-10 years regularly and open the taming space.
Not to mention Zi Yang, even Void Empress rolled her eyes at this suggestion.
Even though the professionals in the world can increase their lifespan by five years every major level and 50 years at every major stage; ten years is still a lot to lose in the formative years of career.
Joanne was not discouraged and explained the second solution.
1. Use an emperor level beast taming space relic and explode it in the beast taming space. Use chaos energy to contain the destruction. The creation energy of chaos qi offsets the destruction and a suitable beast taming space would soon form.
Both of them were again swept of their feet. The question of exploding a precious relic is to be set aside for now. Even if the concept of offsetting creation and destruction checks out, where would they find an emperor level relic?
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Is it cabbage thrown on the street?
If not for the fact that Joanne said the information was received at the expense of the extreme chaos qi and a certain confidence in the remnant being, Void Empress would have walked away long ago.
Seeing as it did not work either.
Joanne paused and said, “Then there’s only one way. But it also the most difficult. It would need enormous resources, help of a lot of people, and a lot of training from you.”
Void Empress’ interest was piqued.
Zi Yang became solemn. Help from a lot of people? Even her master alone was not enough?
One can imagine how difficult it would be.
Then came in sync – both writing on the screen and the audio. What exactly was it, Zi Yang had an illusion of listening to an e-book – the monotonous sound and all.
He digressed.
Coming back to his senses, he wished he had not.
For the words on point number three were,
1. Pangu Kaitian
“Impossible”
Zi Yang reflexively refused.
Void Empress’ interest heighted even more. Zi Yang had always been composed all his life.
Even occasional shocks would only cause a change in expression.
What do these two words mean that would cause such a shock to him?
Zi Yang once again saw those piercing eyes he used to see as a kid. He understood that his master was curious.
Ah forget it.
The cat’s already out of the bag.
She might have guessed his identity as a time traveler long ago through clues, or conjured a logical explanation, so he did not dodge this time.
He leaned back and said as if reciting a story.
---
“A long time ago, chaos was not judged and three thousand chaos demon gods and countless chaotic creatures roamed chaos.
They were of all shapes and sizes, animals and plants, weapons and treasures. Each very unique and with their own Daos.
They wandered chaos as they progressed in their Daos.
Chaos was all directionless, timeless, spaceless and meaningless. Yet it contained and embraced everything.
In that time, among these innumerable creatures was born a giant man with a lotus as his bed, a jade disc as his crown and, an axe and chisel for a weapon.
The man traveled the land like any other chaos creature.
He learned from others, taught others, made friends and made enemies.
He kept traveling in search for meaning, but as said earlier Chaos encompasses everything – that includes meaning.
So, there was meaning and no meaning in Chaos at the same time.
The man kept improving his strength and kept looking for his quest. He cultivated the Dao of Power.
He believed the he could harness the power of any Dao, so he created his own Dao – the Dao of Power.
Over and over again as he lived long, he gradually became bored with the monotony of chaos.
There was nothing to do here except a fight here, or a raid there.
He grew tired and irritated.
One day, it struck him.
He believes in his own power. So, should he not use his power to make chaos as he likes it?
After years of meditation, he summed up a cruel truth.
Chaos was doomed. The very properties of inclusion and all-encompassing determine that it can never change.
Only when things divide can variations occur.
So, he made a decision that shocked everyone – including the three thousand demon gods.”
He had just paused for a little longer for dramatic effect when Zi Ming shouted out loud, “What did he do?”
The door opened and apparently at some point Zi Ming, Mama Mei and other two attendants were standing out of the door engrossed in the story.
It did not matter.
This would require everyone’s help and so he signaled for Zi Ming to come in.
In fact, there was no need to. He jumped of his own accord.
After everyone settled, Zi Yang continued again,
“He decided to split the chaos with his axe and create a world he liked.
So, he excitedly shouted and informed everyone to join him.
But the other chaos demon gods were used to living here and did not feel anything wrong. Now a lunatic shows up and says he wants you to help him demolish your house.
Imagine the anger.
So everyone ganged up on him.
But sadly, they were beaten to death.
It was only after everyone died that the man realized that it was his human catastrophe. When he decided to break chaos and create a world by his power.
It was the ultimate proof of his way of power – his dao.
So Great Dao sent a catastrophe.
After this, with no one to stop him, the man chopped the axe in chaos and split chaos into heaven and earth.
He used a chisel to create a tunnel under the earth.
But chaos heaven did not give up. It sent down pressure to force down heaven so that the heaven would collapse on earth.
The man was also unforgiving.
He stood up, increased his size and lifted heaven above his shoulder.
He supported for a long time as chaos heaven smashed thunders on him. This was his heavenly catastrophe.
He still survived.
Heaven was angry at him from reducing his personality from chaos heaven to a primordial world heaven so its catastrophe was big.
But earth was grateful for his creation as it did not exist independently in chaos, so it sent a lighter catastrophe.
It just ignited nether fire to roast his soul.
But the man was injured already badly. Even if he passed, it would take a very long time to heal.
But he couldn’t leave supporting heaven otherwise, it would still collapse.
So, he decided to die and leave a world for future descendants.
He had lived long anyway.
He then transformed into all things.
His eyes became the sun and the moon, hair became stars, muscles became mountains, teeth and bones ores, spiritual veins, blood became rivers, sound became thunder, exhale became air, even soul transformed into three pure ones.
His spine became the heavenly pillar mountain, which supported heaven.
The man was called Pangu.
This was Pangu opening heavens.”
