Asra was up a creek without a paddle. Her sister was sick, her soon to be brother-in-law was a wreck, her cram school fees were due, and college loomed around the corner. To say she needed money was the biggest understatement of the century. However there was only so much a part time job could offer and she had no time between cram and school to pick up anything else. Not unless she could make money in her sleep.  When her coworker, Yash, offers her a way to earn money while her body sleeps it seems to good to be true. IGC's MMVR The Realms was just that though. Being in BETA, IGC announced they would pay players to test and help the company find issues before the game was released. Yash was willing to help her get into the program at a price. VR had a nasty reputation though, one that claimed the world drove people to the brink of their sanity as their realities blended.  Willing to take the chance Asra takes up the name Assell and dives head first into a world just as real as her own. Where players can conquer kingdoms, monopolize economies, ascend to a status similar to gods, and ‘kill’ others for rare loot.
