Assaf looked at her and he was a little disappointed, her looks and body remained ugly.
He at least had some hopes that her look improved the same as it happened before when she got recognized by the god of water.
But all the children she gave birth to turned up exceptionally well, the lowest recognition she ever gave birth to were at the pink level. Most of them were at the purple recognition! He couldn’t just leave this treasure to die!
“Opal, we have so much to talk about why don’t we …” Assaf started his speech.
“Shut the fuck up! You have one sentence to tell me where Mormo is before your head will leave your body!” Opal said with determination.
“Think about your children!” Assaf shouted as her face turned white, Opal was so angry that she couldn’t speak.
The area around Assaf’s leg started to vibrate and shrink as if to devour and disconnect his leg from his body, which turned into a pocket of vibrated air.
Assaf had years of experience in fighting, he threw a lot of essence out of his body to circle around the vibrating area as he heated the air with fire around and from within the pocket of the compressed air.
Opal lost control over the pocket as it started to expand it lost its power as the pocket turned bigger and bigger until it vanished.
“You will die today … regardless … “ Opal muttered.
She thought about her fights with Mormo, about the different ways he managed to free himself from her essence which locked him in place. How he manipulated the essence in the air to influence her own essence by pushing them a little.
“Fire can turn water to gas, my cute child told me about the process, maybe the fire doing the same to my essence as he forced my essence to expand” Opal thought to herself.
“What should I do?” Opal thought to herself as Assaf shoot a beam of fire in her direction, while the ground around her started to fall and crumble below her feet.
The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
A 100-meter pit just form below her feet as she fell into it while the beam flew fast in her direction.
“My child..” Opal murmured as she looked at the two white masses which always stayed near her, connected to her with two golden threads.
Her power was new to her, she couldn’t control it perfectly or even think of good use for her power besides crushing the air around her, she just got introduced to her new power and she had a lot to explore.
“I need to run … to save my child …” she thought.
Her mind was occupied only with this thought, the beam of light started to fly away from her as if the distance between her body and the beam turned endlessly big, but the pit became so small that she immediately touched the ground as the pit became nothing but slightly uneven ground.
All the cultivators around her were in utter shock! Her power looked like it can defy the absolute rule of this world!
Opal made a small step, but she already left the clan as she found herself in a middle of a big lake.
She wanted to take another step, to run from the clan and learn how to use her power properly, afterward she will come back and kill Assaf for good!
“STOP!” an ancient voice fell from the ground, Opal couldn’t move, an unimaginable number of essences surrounded her, locked her in place.
Before her a young and collected man stood up, he scanned every millimeter of her body, as he studied her carefully while she couldn’t move at all!
It was the first time he saw or heard about anything like her in his entire life!
“Anomaly!” this man thought to himself.
“There is no way the Troll is getting her!” he cursed in his heart.
“I heard a lot about you Opal” the young man said with a smile.
Opal couldn’t talk due to the huge amount of essence that locked her in her place which felt to her like they weight more than multiple tons.
“I’m the chief of your clan, I’m thinking we have a lot to talk about” the young man said.
“My name is Vike, do you mind spending some of your time with me chatting, I promise you that you will be satisfied after that” he said as a strange light appeared in his eyes.
Opal tried to free herself from the essence that surrounded her, the same way Mormo freed himself from her when they trained. The problem was that she only knows the theory and never actually practiced it.
After some futile tries, Opal understood that for now, she could do nothing and that she must survive in order to meet her child again!
“Fine” Opal said as she followed the chief of the clan.
They walked back into the clan in total silence, when they came back all the fighters of the clan surrounded her and the chief to greet him.
20 strong-looking creatures come to the chief and bend their knee in greetings, Assaf stood in front of all of them, he was the next in line to become a chief.
“Greetings to the supreme chief” all the clan members shouted together.
The chief looked in the direction of Assaf as he locked him in place with his essence.
“Do you want to kill him by yourself, or do you want me to kill him for you?” asked the chief.
The face of Assaf turned white for only a fraction of a second but after only a moment he submit to his fate and close his eyes.
Opal didn’t know whether it was a test or understood why the chief suddenly favored her and said “I want to kill him by myself when I will be able to do it with my own power”.
On the one hand, she didn’t show that she really wants him dead but on the other, she stated very clearly that she doesn’t want him around.
The chief looked young, but his eyes were filled with intelligence, the only one who she ever saw with the same amount of brightness was the damn Troll!
Vike looked amused as he punched Assaf in his stomach, his hand passed his torso easily which made all the ground around him become dark red with his blood, which had a blue luster to it.
Afterward, he just walked away while Opal followed him into the depth of the clan.
