The 13 families have ruled over the city state of Nivma for the last six hundred years. Each family has their job and does it well to contribute to the survival of their great home.  when rules are bent, hell may be the cost as two of the families are united in marriage for the first time in the history of the 13. The Ashi, a faction of human assassins tasked with keeping the other 12 families honest to their values are to be joined to the Brimstones, the lead family of the Abyssal faction who are the foremost protectors from outside threats. With the arrangement of these two families to wed scions, a world of turmoil has begun to shake the city to its core, but politics are not the only problems that stir for the city, a cult tries to reawaken an ancient god that holds deep roots to the formation of the 13 families and their great city. They shall stop at nothing to raise their dead god from its broken form and all that stands between them is a newly formed bond that may be snuffed out before it even has a chance to flourish.
