Otherwise it will carve out its own niche of lore and characters. Only using the Original protagonists of the series as cameos.The story is to delve heavily into the underutilized potentail of Skywing flamescale twins, with a fun dash of ghosts and existential crisis.This story is about Ash, Ember and Pitch.Ash is flameless, barely a spark within him. He walks so close to death the line is blurred. After a close encounter with death, he meets a ghost who offers him a second chance, so long as he helps her.Ember is a flamescales. Constantly trying to find purpose in a world where her scales make living normally impossible. She must overcome her own nature to find her own happiness.Pitch is an ancient ghost. Looking for something important they left behind.The story is a 3 act structure where Ash and ember's storlines are intertwined for the first act,then the split off and each have their own substory. Ash's being a mystery adventure, and Embers being a more emotionally based story with a slower pace.Then they recombine for the 3rd act and the climax.While this is my first true fanfiction.
