ASCENDANT, is the story of a person who gradually finds himself exposed to the different aspects of the world he lives in and his struggles to find his place within, as each new stuggle further breaks what he thought to have understood about the world. In a world slowly crumbling under continuously rising conflicts, Altair is just another face, another person among many others until a moment changes his life forever. He finds himself suddenly able to Sling, teleport to any location he can see or visualize. As if that was not enough, a mysterious system awakens within himself, granting that allows him to enhance himself. Seeing the unfolding events across the globe, from wars to sudden accidents and disasters, Altair chooses the path of quiet heroism. Operating secretly, he uses his newfound abilities to help the vulnerable; families trapped in crumbling cities, those cought in crossfire and others left behind. His goal, to save as many as he can. His decision, although noble, is not without consequences. Sooner or later, he will have to face those consequences. From the small ones the more destructive ones.
