Ascendance Cycle follows Shiara Sterling, an orphan whom desires nothing more than to live up to her noble heritage by attending Mytheris Academy for Wielders and becoming a Divine Wielder. For thousands of years, Galencia has been protected by four noble heroes - Divine Wielders chosen to bear the four Divine Weapons. Passed down through the ages, these weapons of divine power provide a vessel of unimaginable strength with which to climb the ranks of the Arcanic Arts.  It is the celestial mission of the four Divine Wielders to protect the balance within this world. When working together, the synergy of all four weapons allows the Divine Wielders to perform incredible acts, keeping the Kingdom of Galencia peaceful and protecting the Cycle of Ascension - the wheel of reincarnation that governs this plane and allows for Wielders to practice the Arcanic Arts. However, balance in the world requires both the presence of light and dark. Arcanic Beasts and spirits are creating chaos now more than ever, causing many to believe the Cycle of Ascension has greater problems at hand than any Wielder has ever faced. Darkness brews in Galencia, and the soul of a young noble girl may be all that can stop it.  This is my first ever work to see the light of day and I am sooo exited to share it with the internet! This book will include heavy progression fantasy elements, a female MC, possible romance (but it won't be heavy if at all, we shall see where the characters take me).
