LOOKING FOR FEEDBACK. Tyrelia, a world forever changed by the impact of a fallen star, marred because of its ancient arcane that spread throughout our lands, rooting itself in the very ground we walk on. The country faces threats we have never seen before, creatures of the night, mutilated following the manifestation of the arcane. For years we have studied the origins of the Star and the effects of the blood that continuously eminates from within, and it has become our most powerful resource. Unfortunately this power is being harnessed by cults, warlords and religious fanatics to further their means. Fortunately there are some, who are strong enough to withstand its power, without them, we would be powerless to stop the spread of this wicked darkness. It is in the midst of this dark and unpredictable time that we meet Cailin. Born and raised in the Northern Temple, he is a young mage-in-training caught up in everyday life, completely unaware that within a few days, life as he knows it, will change forever.   This is just a sample of a story i've been writing. I posted it here in order to possibly get some constructive criticism :)
