Synopsis
As humans will sometimes do upon discovering a multi-dimensional artefact--and call it Lovecraftian if you so desire--they will go about mucking with it. In this instance, this results in a seemingly innocent girl being sucked away from your miserable planet. Yes, your planet--but some time in the future. The girl then becomes a pawn for extremely powerful entities who send her to yet another miserable world infested with humans.
Sent to do what, exactly? Why, to liberate it from that most horrid of forces: human idiocy! You see, this other world is run by a monarch--which is the polite word for saying fascist. A horrid tyrant who deserves to be overthrown. Oh, but Aia will not be completely powerless.
To give her a sporting chance, the entities granted her an unlimited lifespan, a synthetic elf-like corpus which is tough but not invincible (and what would be the fun in that), and partnership including a rather obnoxious dwarf whose bad attitude is proportional to his intelligence. Oh, and a legendary weapon called the Arcfire--fabricated by a space-faring species of elves, a weapon capable of firing terrible energies. That is, if one learns to use the thing first!
A moronic tyrant in a floating castle, roaming bands of lunatics on six-legged mounts, and a quest to save a planet from the before-mentioned idiocy. Let the game begin.
