Teran Savorr, master thief and novice warlock, has successfully stolen back his mother's amulet from the bureaucratic Duke Baldwin. Unfortunately, this has come at a dangerous cost. He now finds himself on the run from bounty hunters, scoundrels, and warlocks alike. The only haven en route is the infamous Arcanum Academy and its menagerie of witches and warlocks.  However, not everything is at it seems.
