Sparks of the All-Forge is a high fantasy story which follows the lives of multiple young adults as their worlds are consumed by conspiracy, systemic oppression, politics, and warfare. "The Huntsman's Vow" loosely follows the stories of multiple lordlings and ladies through preludes and interludes while mostly covering the story of Yoric Youngclaw. Yoric is a hard-working, upstanding thief who doubles as a Huntsman. He lives with his mother in the mountain town of Theralyn in the Province known as the Massif. As a thief, he works with an extensive network of criminals in order to steal the foreign imports of local noblemen. As a Huntsman, he takes on jobs in which he solves problems which stem from monsters and other paranormal entities. His best friend, Abraham, is his partner in all of these vocations. Through the appearance of a kingdom-wide celebrity, the discovery of corruption at the highest levels of the local government, and whispers of a conspiracy which could result in the deaths of a hundred plus human beasts, Yoric's life is thoroughly uprooted.
