Darius Walker had enough. First, he is always overlooked by his parents, because his perfect little brother is so much better then him in practically everything. But he can live with that, because he knows that at least his grandparents love him. He then comes home to find his girlfriend of 3 years in bed with his brother, who then tells him that she wants to break up, as if he would still want to stay together after that! And then, after he went to visit his grandparents in Germany to calm down, maybe go hunting a bit with his grandpa in his ancestral family home, this shit happens.  Shards? New monstrous creatures and mutating wildlife? Reshaping continents? Dieing grandparents? Why him? Why is it always him? And if that was not enough, he got the same fucking deadly infection as his grandparents! Of course, lets kick him while he is down and at his lowest. ... Maybe she should not have said that he reached his lowest point, that clearly invites even worse luck.
