Frank Cooper is a war vet, skilled hunter, and former pro boxer. He’s also already ninety years old. The old man is about to accept the embrace of death when the world changes. Our home planet Awakens to Aether—whatever that means — and to save our species from complete extinction, a godlike existence transports a part of humanity to Terra, an Earth’s twin-planet. Frank finds himself in a new world, a place of magic and runic cards, a place that brims with dinosaurs and worse.
