Synopsis
The world was thrown into chaos when the two alien ships landed, one in China and the other in Argentina. Massive earthquakes and power disruptions originating from the two vessels caused widespread destruction. It took the best efforts of the world's leaders to prevent war, and even then, there were a few rogue skirmishes. The United States and the Russian Federation had their nuclear missiles primed for launch. Fears of espionage surfaced, a cold war state reemerging in the world. Riots broke out in every country. The world came as close as it had ever been to total annihilation.
But somehow, the world restabilized. Over the years, with the two alien vessels remaining dormant, it slowly became clear there was no immediate threat. The world became more united than ever, with almost every nation working together to figure out what the purpose of the alien vessels was.
Five years after their arrival, Elysia discovered something amazing. She somehow knew how to understand the aliens; she could figure out what it was they wanted. There was only one thing in her way: she was a simple nobody, and she had to get into the two most heavily guarded military bases in the world, and then convince the world's leaders that what she knew was true.
